University of Ottawa Admissions Average
Visit Admissions for Universities in Canada for Details on Admission to all Canadian Universities
Admission is not guaranteed. The minimum average required for admission depends on the number of spots available in a given program. Applicants who do not have the minimum average required for some of our most competitive programs may be considered for a program in a related field of study.
- Canadian secondary school applicants: The admission average you need to be eligible for a program or scholarship is calculated based on your interim or final Grade 12 results, including prerequisites courses for your program.
- International students: The admission average required is calculated based on the final results from courses taken in your institution.
- University or college transfers: The admission average required is calculated based on the final results from courses taken in your post-secondary institution.
All the prerequisite courses for a program must be equivalent to Grade 12 courses to be considered. To see these prerequisites, select where you’ve studied.
